As a father, husband and your local State Member, I am delighted to represent you in the Victorian State Parliament.
I was lucky enough to grow up in Geelong. I went to school at Belmont Primary School, Belmont High School and Deakin University and helped run my successful family business. Like many, I balanced part-time work with studies and spent my summers on the Surf Coast with friends.
I was privileged to serve as a Councillor for the City of Greater Geelong, representing the Deakin Ward from 2008 – 2010. As a local Councillor, this helped me to gain a further understanding of the needs of the community.
Now my wife and I, living in Armstrong Creek are raising our own children. And I want to make sure they, and every person in South Barwon have every opportunity that I had to live, study, work and eventually raise their own families in this great community.
As your local MP, first elected in 2010, I am fighting for better local services, strengthening law and order measures, improving public transport and fixing roads and infrastructure.
But I like to keep in touch with residents and hear their views and opinions. This helps me to better represent you, and I appreciate and encourage regular feedback.
I’m here to assist all of South Barwon, so please feel free to call, send me an email or connect with me on Facebook at any time. Alternatively, feel free to fill in my community survey found on this website and let me know what matters to you.
I am proud to be your representative in the State Parliament of Victoria and to stand up for our community. Your comments assist with letting me know what matters to you helping to create a safe, strong and vibrant community.
I look forward to hearing from you.
