Today, Member for South Barwon Andrew Katos MP attended the official opening of the Kurrambee Myaring Community Centre in Torquay.
This centre was funded thanks to the previous Liberal Government, with an allocation of $1.6 million from the Napthine Government to build this facility.
Mr Katos, in attending the opening ceremony was pleased to see the centre finally completed.
This facility will provide much needed day care places, three-year old and four-year-old kindergartens.
Mr Katos points to the significant amount of growth in the region, and Torquay North and Armstrong Creek which certainly highlights the need for this type of spending and facilities to be built.
This facility is another example of how the previous Liberal Government ensured that South Barwon electorate received vital infrastructure spending.
